How does the Institute raise its funds?

Research funds are raised in several ways:

1 By the State MND Associations

2 Through direct fundraising by the Institute

a By collaboration with community service groups
b By direct mail
c By seeking donations from charitable trusts.

Donations to the Institute may be claimed as taxation deductions.

In memoriam donations and bequests are appropriate ways of remembering and honouring a loved one or colleague who has succumbed to MND.  Sometimes mourners may be requested to make donations to research rather than to send flowers.

All donations are tax deductible in Australia and should be made payable to The MND Research Institute of Australia and sent to PO Box 990, GLADESVILLE NSW 1675, Australia.
